Moving my practice towards the creation of objects that embody the visual aesthetics and notions found in my paintings and design work. Materials used within the process are recycled and adopt a hands-on action when forming the pulp into moldable shapes. These new forms begin to take a life of their own until they slowly bind and solidify, starting their emerging journey as a new recycled object.

The Papier Mache Clay is made from recycled cardboard and pressed and shaped using vessels such as throw-away plastic cups and pots and bowls.

The objects created have a rough-textured surface, they are organic in form and coated with a bright synthetic polymer based paint. The synthetic surface attempts to smooth out the naive quality and sting it with human intervention with the use of bold toxic colours.
