A reworked oversized T-shirt, individually designed and finished by hand in my Melbourne studio.
Each piece is transformed through a slow, considered process, combining ice dyeing, hand-painted details and an embroidered patch on the chest.
As each T-shirt is reworked individually, variations in colour, pattern and painted finish are an intentional part of the work and ensure no two pieces are exactly alike.
220 GSM, 22-singles 100% combed cotton T-shirt with a shorter length and dropped shoulders, creating a relaxed box silhouette. Finished with neck ribbing, side seams, shoulder-to-shoulder tape and double-needle hems. Pre-shrunk for minimal shrinkage.
The garment is first treated with a fibre-reactive solution before being ice-dyed using cobalt blue and bronze dye. Once the base colour has developed, the piece is hand-painted with fabric dyes.
The garment is then rinsed, colour fixed and dried.

Machine wash cold with like colours. Do not bleach, tumble dry or dry clean. Line dry in the shade or inside out.
