A low profile six-panel cap, individually reworked by hand in my Melbourne studio.
Made from lightweight 100% cotton, each cap is treated using a discharge technique, with discharge liquid painted onto the fabric before being layered with textile dyes to create the finished motifs. A hand-embroidered patch is added to the front, completing the design.
No two caps are the same. Variations in colour, paint and embroidery reflect the hand finished nature of the process and are intended as part of each piece's character.
